ENVS Seminar and 2 Tongass Job Openings
The ENVS Seminar is open to ENVS and GEOG-minded folks, students, alumni, etc. The theme of the talks this semester revolve around science that is affected by climate change. Class meets in HB105 12:00-1:00 on Wednesdays. The talk on 1/19 is entitled "Microsites and Timberline Expansion" by Adelaide "Di" Johnson. She is a PhD student at Portland State University and is a Hydrologist for the PNW Forestry Science Lab. Discussion will focus around the five explanations of timberline featured in the following article. Join us!
