Summer Student Research Position at UAS

The student will compile and review recent and historical hydrographic and glacier mass balance data for the region.  The data will be used to tune a climate/glacier/runoff model.  The information is part of a broader 21st glacier modeling project involving Dr. Eran Hood from UAS and other faculty from UAF.

Students in ENVS and GEOG are encouraged to apply.  Familiarity with hydrology, glacial terminology, and Microsoft Excel is a plus.  The position can be part time or full time depending on student schedule.  For more information and application instructions see Mike Hekkers in HB107, 796-6523, mlhekkers@uas.alaska.edu
