JIRP Newsletter, Permanent DEC position and internship

The Juneau Icefield Research Program (JIRP) and their main funding organization the Foundation for Glacier and Environmental Research (FGER) have put out their fall newsletter.

Dear friends of JIRP,

We would like to share information about the M3 JIRP Legacy Fund and the new Joan W. Miller JIRP Scholarship Fund.  Ross and Lance Miller helped the FGER Board to create these funds honoring their parents.
With the largest number of students in a decade, 2013 was a great year for JIRP.  We are already busy with preparations for 2014 and are still accepting students for the summer.

Please keep in touch with FGER and the wider JIRP community via JIRP on facebook and JIRP on twitter.
